CastersMC Terms of Service

By accessing or using CastersMC (“the Server”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Server or its related services. These Terms apply to all players, visitors, and anyone who interacts with CastersMC, including through our website, game server, and digital store.

1. Eligibility

You must have a valid Minecraft account to access the Server. By joining CastersMC, you affirm that you are at least 13 years old or have parental/guardian permission to participate.

2. Rules of Conduct

All players must follow the official rules of the Server. This includes, but is not limited to, respecting other players, staff members, and the community as a whole. Toxic behavior, including but not limited to harassment, discrimination, hate speech, or excessive profanity, is strictly prohibited. The use of cheats, hacked clients, or modifications that provide an unfair advantage (e.g., x-ray, fly hacks, auto-clickers, bots) is not allowed. Exploiting bugs or glitches to gain items, currency, or other advantages is also prohibited and may result in account suspension or ban. Griefing and stealing are not permitted unless explicitly allowed in a specific game mode. Players must not impersonate staff or other players. Staff members have the right to mute, kick, or ban any player at their discretion for violating these rules or engaging in disruptive behavior.

3. Gameplay and Server Mechanics

Players are responsible for protecting their property using the tools provided (e.g., land claims or protection plugins). Unclaimed builds are not protected from other players. Use of redstone contraptions, AFK farms, or automation tools must not cause server lag or abuse the AFK system. PvP is allowed only in designated areas or worlds as outlined in Server-specific rules. Any attempt to bypass game mechanics, bypass punishments, or use alternate accounts to avoid restrictions may result in immediate disciplinary action.

4. Store and Donations

CastersMC may offer in-game items, ranks, or benefits through its official online store. All purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by law. Attempting to abuse or exploit store perks will result in the removal of purchased items and possible disciplinary action. Any chargeback or payment dispute will result in a permanent ban from the Server. By purchasing from our store, you confirm that you are the authorized user of the payment method and that you understand and agree to all terms presented at checkout.

5. Intellectual Property

All server-side content including but not limited to builds, custom items, plugins, branding, and website content is the intellectual property of CastersMC or its licensors. Players may not copy, distribute, or claim ownership of server content without written permission. This includes videos, screenshots, and texture packs derived directly from the Server.

6. Punishments and Appeals

CastersMC reserves the right to remove, restrict, or ban access to any user without prior notice for violations of these Terms or for behavior deemed harmful to the community. Players have the right to appeal punishments by contacting staff through official appeal channels, which may include Discord or our website. The outcome of an appeal is final and is at the full discretion of the CastersMC staff.

7. Limitation of Liability

CastersMC is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the availability, reliability, or safety of the Server or its services. CastersMC is not responsible for data loss, gameplay progress, or damages resulting from the use of our services. CastersMC is not affiliated with Mojang AB, Microsoft, or any official Minecraft entity.

8. Changes to These Terms

CastersMC reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon being posted on our website or Discord server. It is your responsibility to review the Terms regularly. Continued use of the Server after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
